Main Activities
The Sharon Mar Thoma Sunday School was started along with the Parish in the year 1979 under the administration of The Mar Thoma Sunday School Samajam. With main activities as:
- Sunday School classes will be starting on the first Sunday of January every year with a pledge by the teachers in a special service during Holy Qurbana service.
- Teachers assemble once in three months at the residence of a teacher to evaluate the working and plan future programmes of our Sunday School.
- Talent test (competitions) of students for singing, story telling, elocution and essay writing is done in the month of January every year, and recommend first and second placed students for further competitions to be held by Centre/Diocese/Samajam.
- Sunday School students participate in all the activities of the Parish like collection of offertory on all first Sundays, etc. They also do the scripture reading, assisting in the worship service and devotional message on World Sunday School Day in the month of November every year.
